Main Areas of Responsibility:
- The Project Manager will be responsible for the chartering and leadership of actions to deliver global product initiatives and major company projects in their respective area of responsibility.
- The Project Manager will be a member of the Canadian Marketing team, and will have interfaces across all functions - including Global Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance, and some external suppliers, to deliver the given project.
- The Project Manager will set the direction, plan and develop the overall schedule and deliverables of the Elizabeth Arden Canada team, and facilitate the execution of the project.
- The Project Manager will track and report on progress on a periodic basis, including identifying risks and issues and developing and executing needed mitigation plan.
- Each project will have key metrics and deliverables established and tracked by the Project Manager.
- Financial Responsibility: Responsible to deliver project on cost, including all costs to execute the project (molds, capital investments, contractor charges, pre spending on materials, etc); Delivering product cost and margin commitments for project.
- Project Outline: Outline full projects task lists with timing for cross-functional group: product mix change, exit strategy execution, merchandising, new packaging change elements and outline timing
- Merchandising: Project schedule by door, timing of new merchandising set up: both interim, partial permanent fixtures and full installation change.
- Build database of current by door sizes and type of installation vs new proposed merchandising by door
- Build interim merchandising solutions for transitional door set up
- Analyze current store layouts, sizing, space restrictions, duratran sizing, and build a schedule of action items for necessary changes.
- Inventory Analysis: Analyze inventory of current product listings and future optimum product mix, with exit cost risks and costs.
- Lead Internal Repositioning Project Team: Form a cross-functional team, leading team meetings, developing critical path schedules, developing metrics and process to evaluate progress, planning action steps, addressing and resolving issues.
- Communicate broadly up and across the organization: Develop a weekly update process, participate in North American and Global (potential) meetings as they relate to the repositioning, distribute minutes and follow up notes, coordinate and action item

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Required - preferred in Marketing
- 3-5 Years experience in Project or Program Management.
- Experience in Consumer Goods, specifically in the cosmetics and skincare industry.
- Experience in dealing with multiple functions
- Computer / Technical skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
- Project management experience; proven experience leading larger and complex programs.
- Strong sense of team work; capable and experienced at developing a team approach across a team of diverse contributors.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and display flexibility within a fast paced work environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritize in a constantly changing environment. Adept at multi-tasking.
- Outstanding communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.
- Ability to nurture and influence productive, collaborative and communicative relationships within, across and outside of the organization
