Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Directing all aspects of fragrance brand development:
  • - New product and concept development
  • - Interfacing with essential oil houses on product development, both for new fragrances and ancillary product development
  • - Coordination of packaging development (including product/package copy, legal issues)
  • Developing and implementing worldwide business plans which include the following:
  • - Brand strategy (including pricing, promotion, etc.), positioning, and assortment
  • - Media Strategies
  • - Assessment of the competitive environment
  • - Advertising development and collateral support for all worldwide markets
  • - Distribution opportunities
  • Working with creative to implement marketing direction on product launch collateral, and global promotions
  • Coordinating consumer research (advertising/product/concept)
  • Spearheading worldwide communication of brand strategies and marketing initiatives
  • Tracking and reporting industry trends and competitive product positioning
  • Global P & L management and accountability

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related filed; MBA is a plus
  • A minimum of five (8) years experience in global fragrance brand development or related category experience
  • Experience in a CPG company is highly desired
  • Good understanding of P&L fundamentals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to get things done working with all cross functional teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Proven success as a leader. Ability to lead, mentor and develop a team of brand managers
  • Strategic brand development skills (ability to think conceptually about brands, advertising, and the competitive market)

Education:
