Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Developing and executing marketing plans
  • Developing new products and seasonal color stories
  • Developing selling and training materials with sales and training teams
  • Spearheading worldwide communication of brand strategies and marketing initiatives
  • Managing creative process including: naming product, promotions and shades; copy for products, packaging, promotions and collateral materials; copy approval; submission and follow up with Legal department; mechanical approval
  • Working with creative to implement marketing direction on launch displays, and various collateral
  • Interfacing with vendors on new product and package development, printing and production
  • Coordinating consumer product research
  • Following through with execution of all details of marketing programs
  • Analyze & track costs of finished goods, samples and collateral to meet budget targets
  • Managing Brand's visibility in promotional and in-store merchandising displays
  • Maintaining field contact for sell-thru information, product feedback, etc.
  • Analyzing new product launch results and business impact
  • Tracking and reporting industry trends and competitive product positioning

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required; major in Marketing is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in marketing and/or product development in the beauty or CPG industry
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the cosmetics category
  • Experience in developing brands and executing through market launch
  • Strong organizational skills, good interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Understands how to prioritize and manage workload
  • Strong team player that works well with others
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Additional software used: NPD Power view & Euromonitor International
  • Ability to prioritize and meet ever-changing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Good presentation skills
