Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Maximize the sales and profit of products sold to retailers within the given territory.
  • Achieve quarterly sales & margin target.
  • Create and conduct proposals/presentations for customers (in person, via email, and on the phone).
  • Maintain continuous contact with all customers to maximize sales results and ensure high level of client satisfaction.
  • Act as liaison between the customer and our customer support team, regarding issues such as, RA's, shortages, damages, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, offers and sales activities.
  • Manage the sales order process, from order entry through A/R collection,
  • Communicate effectively with other departments within the company in order to appropriately manage the account's needs.
  • Provide input on competitive activity in accounts including competitive pricing, promotions, terms and general guidance on how to maximize sales opportunities with customers.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of the fragrance market including brand strength, pricing elasticity, promotional effectiveness, etc.
  • Responsible for preparing and submitting quarterly sales & margin budgets, using prior year history, current market trends and current year growth projections.
  • Create and maintain accurate monthly product forecasts on basic fragrance and promotions for entire territory.
  • Attend industry trade shows as requested.
  • Visit key-account stores on a semi-regular basis to enhance the sales relationship and grow the overall business.
  • Assist in the collection of accounts receivables.

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the wholesale or beauty industries.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment. During peak seasons, longer hours may be required as requested by manager.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Sales/Marketing/Finance/Economics
