Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Meet & exceed Unit Fill Rate and inventory goals for brand group
  • Establish Supply Chain strategy (MTS or MTO) for all SKUs in portfolio, with input from Demand Forecasting group
  • Establish critical system parameters (ABC and Safety Stock settings, replenishment quantity, launch quantity, etc.)
  • Establish (in concert w/ Purchasing and External Manufacturing) raw material safety stock and replenishment strategy. Develop monthly inventory budgets, and measure performance
  • Ensure adherence to Weekly Planning Cycles
  • Issue weekly vulnerability report, work w/ Demand and Sales to manage allocations
  • Measure weekly UFR performance, identify key drivers of defects and develop/execute improvements programs
  • Issue monthly scorecard report to be foundation for Exec S&OP review (UFR, inventory, Forecast, Launch, and Promo On-Time Performance
  • Interact with Marketing on Launch and Promo activity as needed

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or other related disciplines
  • A minimum of 3+ years of Supply Planning experience in the Health and Beauty industry; exposure to Demand Forecasting a plus
  • � Solid experience planning in a contract filling environment with inventory ownership as opposed to manufacturing experience
  • � Proficient working with an MRP system; experience with Manugistics Fulfillment module a plus
  • � Proficient in MS Word and Excel; ability to create spreadsheets, apply formulas and analyze data
  • Strong analytical and inventory modeling skills
  • Ability to effectively problem-solve, communicate cross-functionally and to upper management and actively participate in business discussions
  • Must possess a high sense of urgency and a customer service focus
  • An APICS certification in a Supply Chain related area a plus

Education:
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Business or other related disciplines
