Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Provide analytical support to sales to help plan and manage retail sales.
  • Analysis to include preparing reports, identifying trends, summarizing key learning's and presenting recommendations in professional presentations.
  • Lead analysis to identify gaps in opportunities and communicate to DSFG and Finance.
  • Liaison with sales & finance teams to establish and plan annual retail sales plans by account by brand by door to meet corporate business objectives.
  • Interface with finance team to identify retail triggers that impact GSV deliverables and timing.
  • Monitor output of retail sales EDI information and audited retail sales reporting accuracy.
  • Work with IT group to develop, test and implement any new reporting systems.
  • Continue to monitor and improve our customer database to ensure accurate coding for field sales territory reporting, bonus reporting and tracking, as well as mall market reporting and top door by brand reporting.
  • Maintain and facilitate the utilization of the Elizabeth Arden portal for the DSFG group.
  • Maintain weekly communication with the field to consolidate, track and evaluate results from event activity or field promotions which impact retail sales.
  • Be the �voice of the field' by communicating and working to resolve any issues and/or problems related with reporting retail sales.

Qualifications:
  • Analytical background in finance, planning or category management a must.
  • Experience leading and managing a team a plus.
  • Experience in a sales environment essential- department store experience a plus.
  • Exemplary knowledge of how business is conducted at retail; understands the planning and decision making process and national perspective of the consumer packaged goods industry, beauty industry and/or fashion industry.
  • Requires original and critical thinking in originating new or improved methods, procedures, or ideas in undefined and underdeveloped areas.
  • Ability to consistently assess larger trends against current and future business performance.
  • Experience of building marketplace programs to support corporate strategic programs.
  • Negotiation skills, problem solving and conceptual thinking.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. v-lookups, formulas, linked spreadsheets).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Retail Sales & Data Warehouse software systems a plus.

Education:
  • Bachelor degree in related field: Business, Finance or Marketing.
