Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Responsible for inventory management, including stock mix and consistent order flow with each buying office. Review orders in the system to ensure correct purchase orders and ship dates.
- Partner with buying office and key internal partners to resolve any order issues or discrepancies.
- Track, analyze and distribute to Retail Development team weekly sales activity within each account by store.
- Determine promotional product mix (basic vs. promo) to maximize inventory turn and minimize returns.
- Build weekly stock and sales forecast of gross shipping by account, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submission to Finance.
- Monitor and manage quota report and allocation files to insure saleable and non-saleable items all ship on time according to budget.
- Develop, manage, and communicate LV estimates of retail plans by brand for each account taking into consideration account selling and market trends.
- Partner with Retail Development to deliver brand and account strategies that drive retail and gross sales, as well as, profitability.
- Prepare detailed business analyses of promotional expenses to determine return on investment.
- Build, manage and communicate Seasonal Marketing Calendars which include all saleable and non-saleable support items, in order to maximize retail sales.
- Schedule and maintain regular face-to-face meetings with strategic partners for each retail account.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred
- Excellent negotiation, problem solving, analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel (Intermediate to advanced level)
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral (including presentation skills).
- Strong retail planning skills, including sales, margin and inventory plans, and ability to develop strong relationships with retail partners, colleagues and management.
- Proven ability to develop sound budgets and forecasts
- Ability to travel to retail partners/accounts, including overnight stays
- Ability to synthesize data and create a point of view to drive business results.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills. Ability to effectively multi-task.
- Excellent time management skills. Must be able to meet constantly changing deadlines
Education:
- College degree preferred
