Main Areas of Responsibility:
  • Will work with Logistics and IT staff to affect a JDE knowledge transfer from IBM as to the design being implemented.
  • Candidate will also be expected to gain a robust knowledge of the full Logistics systems product and solution suite, including the Warehouse Management System, TRAX System, and the JBA System supporting the business processes.
  • Candidate will be actively engaged in the ongoing advancement and improvement of Logistics business processes, leveraging the JDE solution and integrating other major Logistics applications.
  • Candidate will be immediately responsible for improving the original JDE design, including the improvement or extension of rules, configurations, and other core design parameters.
  • Candidate is expected to be able to execute all phases of a normal Project Management Life Cycle, including but not limited to Requirements Definition, Business Case Development, Software Selection, Testing, Training, Vendor Ma
  • Candidate will be expected to establish and manage systems and process architecture for Global Logistics, assuring that all elements operate seamlessly within the Logistics domain, and with the other domains.
  • The JDE environment will be managed through robust change control measures and the candidate is expected to know and understand Change Management disciplines.

Qualifications:
  • 10 plus years of relevant experience in Logistics systems solutions.
  • 5 plus years of JDE Architect responsibilities including OTC.
  • Working knowledge of other JDE modules such as Finance and Accounting.
  • Extensive experience in global consumer goods settings.
  • Excellent communications (written and oral), change management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Excellent organization and time management, vendor management, and project management skills.
  • Solid quantitative / analytical skills and good business judgment.
  • JDE OTC configuration, rules, and parameters.
  • Logistics Best Practices knowledge including OTC (Sales Order Management, A/R, Pricing), Warehouse Management, Transportation.
  • Management of software supplier relationships.
  • Systems and process architecture development and management.
  • Global, CPG experience.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of JD Edwards.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of JD Edwards.

Education:
  • Four-year college degree in Computer Science, Business, or related fields. (Experience and/or other training will be considered in lieu of a degree). An advanced degree a plus.

Travel Requirements: 25%
