Main Areas of Responsibility:
  • Perform any/all activities for maintenance dept. to include general repairs and maintenance, preventative maintenance and other tasks as assigned to ensure that facilities systems and material handling equipment are maintained in a safe and clean order.
  • Work from verbal and written instructions to perform job duties to include using electrical/electronic control schematics, mechanical and pneumatic systems manuals, and building blue prints and effectively, use all aspects of the Computerized Maint. Syst.
  • Keep abreast of new and changing technologies on the equipment throughout the facility and in the maintenance field.
  • Perform any/all activities for Maintenance. This includes, but not limited to, record filing & retention, recording costs, tracking orders, following up with vendors.
  • Train both operations and maintenance personnel on any/all material handling systems and warehouse facility operations.
  • Support other team members within Logistics Engineering and their associated functions.
  • Be willing to work overtime and mandatory days set forth by the organization on short-notice.
  • Be willing to work flexible coverage; as early at 600am or late evening as required.
  • Be able to maintain certifications related to maintenance activities.
  • Actively evaluates and improves any/all related procedures with and assists in establishing and documenting standard operating procedures for maintenance related tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Three years or more as an Arden facility Maintenance Technician II, or 10 years or more experience and be highly skilled in all areas of Industrial Maintenance: Electrical Systems, Electronic Controls, and Programmable Logic Controllers,
  • Knowledge in Mechanical Drives/Systems, - Pneumatics/Hydraulics, - Electrical and Mechanical Building Utilities.
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain; electrical/electronic schematics, drawings and manuals for mechanical drive and pneumatic systems, and building blue prints. Possess and applies advanced diagnostic and trouble shooting with a full range of test
