Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Developing and executing 3-year strategic marketing plans to ensure continued growth of category.
- Following through with execution of all details of marketing programs:
- Managing product development process from conceptual development to launch including: naming product, copy for products, packaging, promotions, and collateral materials; copy approval; submission and follow up with Legal department; mechanical approval
- Partnering with R&D to identify, execute and analyze relevant consumer and clinical product research. Developing selling and training materials with sales and training teams.
- Developing brand promotional strategy and partner with promotions team to ensure effective seasonal execution and post-season analysis
- Managing relationship with cross-functional partners on new product and package development.
- Working with creative to implement marketing direction on all brand communication material including advertising, glorifier displays and collateral material. Partner with E-commerce team on new product launches and base business executional programs.
- Spearheading worldwide communication of brand strategies and marketing initiatives.
- Partnering with Regional Marketing teams to ensure execution of marketing initiatives and new product launches.
- Maintaining field contact for sell-thru information, product feedback, etc.
- Tracking and reporting industry trends and competitive product positioning.
- Quarterly reporting on overall brand performance globally including identifying key drivers and action plans
- Analyzing all new product launch results and business impact.
- Analyzing all pertinent costs on finished goods, samples and collateral.
- Preparing information phase-out decisions, reviewing obsolete inventory levels and lost revenue implications.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years skin care marketing management, strategically developing and curating brands, including new product development, forecasting, and P & L experience.
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA degree in Marketing preferred.
- Experience working within a global/regional marketing structure preferred.
- Experience working in Asia or with the Asian skincare market preferred.
- Strong analytical and PC skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, NPD Powerview, AS400.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation experience.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA degree in Marketing preferred.
