Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Operates in a consultative fashion, working within the Supply Chain and IT teams to enable best in class business strategies and solutions
- Provides Business Process Improvement services, working with Supply Chain to apply continuous improvement disciplines
- Operates to continuously improve the effectiveness of the JDE Manufacturing solution, including improving the rules, parameters, and configuration of the solution
- Provides business systems analysis and process re-design services, developing and assessing alternatives, and facilitating the selection of the design
- Operates to train the extended Global Supply Chain and IT teams in JDE specifics
- Operates to insure quality user acceptance testing and training and the development of implementation processes and documentation
- Leverages prior experience to integrate ‘best practices’ into Supply Chain business operations
- Ensures the seamless integration of all Global Supply Chain systems
- Performs requirements definition and system analysis duties leveraging standard BSM methodologies
- Develops and nurtures consensus and working relationships with business and technical teams
- Provides hands-on Project Management services for Supply Chain process improvement and systems projects
- Provides full Project Life Cycle Management services, including Opportunity Identification, Business Case Development, Requirements Definition, Systems Analysis, System Design, Build, Test, Implement and Quality Assurance
- Supports the relevant standards and methodologies
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in Computer Science, Business, or related fields. An advance degree is a decided plus
- 10 plus years of relevant experience in Supply Chain systems solutions, including 5 plus years of JDE Manufacturing experience.
- Working knowledge of other JDE modules such as WMS and TMS
- Extensive experience in global consumer goods settings
- Excellent communications (written and oral), change management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate in a matrixed, global environment; Extensive experience operating with business teams at the highest levels
- Excellent organization and time management, vendor management, and project management skills
- Solid quantitative / analytical skills and good business judgment; A high sense of the importance of business urgencies
- The person must also demonstrate skills in the following areas: JD Edwards, UNIX/Oracle environments, Middleware integration tools, and Business Intelligence tools
- JDE Manufacturing configuration, rules, and parameters
- Solid understanding of Manufacturing business processes
- Proven ability to work with, interact, and influence senior business managers and other business executives
- Manufacturing best practices knowledge
- Full Project Life Cycle Management.
- Management of software supplier relationships
Education:
