Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • The 2013 Summer Internship program will run from June 3rd to August 2nd. These paid internships ($15 per hour) are based out of our Stamford, CT office. We have 3 positions available in our Information Technology Department:
  • 1. Financial Administration: Budget development, actual spend analysis, fixed assets reporting, posting of General Ledger entries, analyzing instfrastructure utilization, and developing Purchase Orders.
  • 2. Web Development: Development of a matrix to track and analyze the performance of our third-party vendors relative to service agreements, and the creation and maintenance of web pages using languages such HTML, Java, CSS etc.
  • 3. Supply Chain Systems Management: utilizing systems such as Manugistics, Agile and Interspec to creation/maintain project management information, and create/maintain part specification and bill of material information.
  • 4. IT Security: Help ensure Elizabeth Ardenā€˜s IT environment is adequately protected from risks and threats and is responsible for performing all access control and provisioning daily operations and procedures, ensuring minimum necessary provisions are
  • (continued) adhered to while balancing business functionality requests. Also responsible for managing security toolsets and responding to data generated from these systems, including to anti-virus, disk encryption, web filtering, log correlation, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Sophomore or Junior class status (Junior or Senior in the Fall, 2013 semester) in one of the following majors: Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Web Development.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong technical skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team and an independent environment

Education:
  • Sophomore or Junior class status (Junior or Senior in the Fall, 2013 semester) in one of the following majors: Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Web Development.
